Terms & Conditions Craft Nation Workshops

1. Inner Canvas Courses

Welcome to our Inner Canvas Craft Nation Art & Craft Course offer at Mad Hatters Pottery.  We are excited to have you or your child join us for a creative and enriching experience. Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions, as they outline the guidelines and expectations for participating in our course.  You fully accept these terms and conditions upon booking a course with us.

​1. Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open to children aged 8 to 11 years.

  • Parental or guardian consent is required for sign up.

​2. Registration and Fees

  • Registration forms must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.

  • Student fees must be paid in full at the beginning of each term.

  • Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances, subject to the club's discretion.

​3. Class Schedule and Attendance

  • Classes will be held according to the published schedule.

  • Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure continuity and progress.

  • Parents or guardians must notify us in advance if a child is unable to attend a session.

  • There will be no catch-up sessions available, but we'll provide the materials and instructions needed for the student to complete their project at home.

​4. Materials and Equipment

  • Please ensure the children are dressed in appropriate clothing or have the appropriate covering and protection for their clothing.

  • Materials and equipment will be provided by the club for 1 piece of craft each.

  • Students may be asked to bring specific materials for certain projects, with advance notice.

​5. Code of Conduct

  • Students must behave respectfully towards instructors and fellow members.

  • Respectful and courteous behaviour is expected from all participants at all times.
    Any disruptive or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the course without a refund.

  • Students must stay on site (Mad Hatters Pottery, Tilehurst or Arborfield) for the duration of the session.

  • Students are expected to handle all materials and equipment responsibly.

​6. Health and Safety

  • Parents or guardians must inform the club of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs of the child.

  • The club will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of members.

  • In case of an emergency, the club will contact the parents or guardians immediately.

  • Please do not attend the course if the member has any of the following symptoms: headaches, fever, chills, sore throat or running nose, loss of smell, coughing or sneezing.

​7. Photography and Media

  • The club may take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional purposes.

  • Parents or guardians must indicate on the registration form if they do not consent to their child being photographed or filmed.

​8. Intellectual Property

  • Artwork created by members remains their property.

  • We may request permission to display or use images of members' artwork for promotional purposes.

​9. Data Protection

  • We will collect and store personal information provided during registration for administrative purposes only.

  • Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

​10. Cancellation and Termination

  • We reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • In case of cancellation, members will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative session or a refund.

  • Membership may be terminated for violation of these terms and conditions.

​11. Liability

  • We (Inner Canvas and Mad Hatters Pottery) are not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property that occurs during club activities.

  • Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child’s punctual arrival and departure from the club.

​12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Members will be notified of any changes in advance.

By enrolling in the Art and Craft Club by Inner Canvas Craft Nation x Mad Hatters Pottery, parents or guardians acknowledge that they and their children have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
